German Labor Market Remains Resilient Despite Growth Struggles
German unemployment increased less than expected in December even as Europe’s biggest economy probably suffered a recession last year that it’s struggling to overcome. Joblessness rose by 5,000, compared to an estimate of 20,000 in a Bloomberg survey.
